Honey, Honey and Honey

In our constant endeavour to make available the best organic products for consumption, we are pleased to introduce our next product - Wild Raw Forest Honey.

Please see pictures below. I would call it Pure Liquid Gold!

Some quick facts on our Raw Forest Honey to answer any queries you may have.

1. This Honey is collected from the wild by the indigenous tribe and forest dwellers from hills in the Western Ghats.

2. We do not add any flavour to it

3. It has high moisture content due to high humidity in forest areas, and hence more liquid.

4. We do not reduce moisture content of forest honey by heating, as it will reduce the quality of honey.

5. The Honey is darker in colour when compared to the blossom honey.

6. The taste, texture and sweetness of the Honey is dependent on the time of the year, floral source and weather conditions.

7. Generally the Wild Forest Honey has a stronger flavour with a woody taste and leaves an after taste. It has less aroma.

8. Unheated, unpasteurized and unprocessed, this magnificent treasure from mother nature is packed with all the delicate enzymes, anti-oxidants and minerals which all of us need to stay healthy.

9. Raw and unfiltered honey has a high antioxidant level and will usually granulate and crystallize to a thick consistency after a few months.

10. Little kids may not like the taste as it is not as sweet as blossom honey. But it is excellent for adults as it is packed with medicinal qualities.

Why is Raw Honey better than regular Honey?

* Raw Honey is the most original sweet liquid that honey bees produce from the concentrated nectar of flowers.

* Raw Honey contains all the enzymes, anti-oxidants and minerals

* These can be destroyed on heating and processing.

How do you test the purity of Honey? Once you buy our product, try any or all of the following methods.

1. Take a teaspoon of our Raw Wild Forest Honey and put in a glass full of water. Adulterated Honey will dissolve, while pure Honey will settle at the bottom of the glass.

2. Place a small amount of Honey on your thumb and check if spills or spreads around like any other liquid. If it does, it may not be pure. Pure honey is thick while impure honey will be runny.

3. Pure Honey is inflamable. Take a dry matchstick and dip it in the Honey.  Strike the matchstick against the matchbox.  If it lights, your Honey is pure.
