Arai Kasu Amman

Arai Kasu Amman
I must share this miracle here.

A few weeks ago, my mother lost her gold chain weighing 5 sovereigns. After frantically searching for it for one whole day, she called me one evening literally crying. She had visited me in Chennai just a week before, and then later visited my sister-in law in Coimbatore before leaving to Ooty - our hometown. She said that she remembered wearing the chain while in Chennai, but could not recollect where it was now. Both my sister-in-law and I searched our homes just in case the chain was in our homes, but could not find it. I then told my mom that it must be lying somewhere in the house, and so asked her to look again carefully. I understood from my dad that they could not locate the chain the next day as well. He further said that all at home turned the house upside down and searched in the most unusual places as well, but could not locate the chain.

More than the value of the lost jewelery, all of us were worried about my mother's health. She was very much stressed and could not eat or sleep. We prayed that we somehow get back the chain just so that my mother could be happy. She was already in poor health and was very upset because of this incident. She also did not know whom to suspect if we had assumed it was stolen. There were several visitors to the house in the week, and we could not suspect our servant maid as well because she has been working for several years in our house, and is basically a nice lady. My mom said that my servant maid would feel bad if she was questioned. I could not help but admire my mom's good heart.

Sitting in Chennai, I could not do anything but pray. Something then prompted me to do some search on the internet to get back lost items. I was so desperate for the sake of my mother and was wondering if there was any solution at all.

I then came across information about Arai Kasu Amman, and the miracles experienced by many people. I read that in case you have lost something or do not remember where you have kept things, documents etc, you have to pray to her with faith that you will prepare 'panakam' water mixed with jaggery, cardamom powder if you get the lost item back, and within no time your items / things will be retrieved.

I immediately downloaded the photograph of Arai Kasu Amman and prayed sincerely. I also told my mother about Amman and told her to place some jaggery and a rupee in our pooja room and pray faithfully. My mom said that she only had some old stock of jaggery in the house. I told her not to worry but place whatever jaggery was available in the house, and pray. She did exactly that without any hesitation.

Within 4 hours thereafter, my dad called me to say that they had got back the gold chain! I could not believe my ears, and was ofcourse eager to know what transpired. I understood that my servant maid had come to work as usual, and seeing my mom very upset had enquired what was wrong. My mom immediately broke down and told her about the incident. My maid has then told my mother not to worry and the chain should be there somewhere in the house only and that she will help locate it. As she was sweeping the floor, they found the chain under the Treadmill. My parents were speechless because they did search the house thoroughly. God knows how it went there! All of us, especially my mother were so happy.

My mom and I thanked Arai Kasu Amman for this miracle, and as vowed, the next Sunday I went to the Arai Kasu Amman temple located near Vandalur zoo in Chennai, offered jaggery and prayed. It is a small and a beautiful temple located just near the Lakshmi Kubera Temple. There are 108 ammans in the temple, including the main deity. I bought the pooja items just for Rs:100, and the priest there taught me how to perform pooja myself to all the 107 ammans located around the main deity. I offered prayers as was told, and then the priest performed the archana to the main deity. Along with vasthrams, they also gave me a coin (arai kasu) which I was asked to keep in my pooja room. It was a wonderful experience. I also bought two pictures of Arai Kasu Aman, one for me and the other for my mom.

A picture of Arai Kasu Amman which I have at home and offer prayers everyday is pasted here.

Cheers

  2. After reading this blog, I prayed to ambal that my little ones ear ring(Jimki) be got and I prayed with all my heart. I called up my mother who was also troubled to know that the sentimental ear ring is not to be found anywhere .She being in Chennai vouched that if it's got she will visit her. To all of you out here. She is there listening to us and finding things we lost for us. Sathyam! I got real emotional when we found out the ear ring.
To tell you the sequence of events.
My daughter 's jimki was there in a small zip lock cover and I had it very safely in my hand bag side pocket. I was very cautious of it.we had recently moved from one place to another in transfer. Set up my new place and started to Chennai by road as its my hometown. I still remember seeing the zip lock in my bag. Now, I had spent some 3-4 days at my mom's place and a week in my in-laws place. There was a family function at my mom's place. I searched my bag thouroghly and couldn't find a Trace of the zip lock. I could not remember it as well. As it was more than 20 days. I thought I left it at my new place. No panic. Later returned home and searched the house upside down. Asked my mother and she searched her place upside down. Same with in laws. I was in tears. Could not sleep, eat. It was more sentimental than the actual gold I was crying for. Later that evening someone had told me about arakasu Amman. I searched the internet and found this blog. The incident narrated was like mine. Hence called my mother. Both of us prayed by placing Jaggery and a coin. Next day dad told me he was going to the locker to search. However I knew it was not there. However with great faith on Ambal, that search was my last option .I just hoped and prayed it went into that locker miraculously. After 10mins I got a call from my dad. I picked it up by praying and also thinking so fast he reached the locker place. My mother called me in a video call and the first thing she showed me was the same zip lock cover with jimki .I broke down crying. I knew it was Arakassu Amman who did it for us.
Later after it sank into me. I asked her where and how she found it.

My mother said there was a ear ring box she had got it ,I also knew it. It was inside it. God knows how it went there.

I am writing it as many would be benefitted by praying and getting their lost/forgotten things.
I am yet to go and fulfill my Vow to visit her in vandalur. She did it for us. She will do it for everyone. However complete trust in her is very important.

  3. I came across this blog a week ago when I was surfing for something, and was thrilled to read the miracles of the goddess. Then I did not know that a miracle is awaiting for me too!

Yesterday, I was looking for my gold chain with a Lakshmi pendant that has been my lucky charm for many years. I always used to place in my closet drawer, but was not able to locate it. After many failed attempts of searching I went to bed, half-heartedly. I prayed to Sai Baba to bring my lucky charm back in a day.

Today morning, when I was getting ready to office, out of nowhere I remembered this blog. And to be honest, I didn't remember Amman's name, but prayed to her to help me find my chain.

Tears flooded my eyes when I found my chain the next minute! I opened my closet to take something and my face cream box was about to fall down, so I took it and put in the top shelf.

There I heard a cling! I opened the box with a smile and found my chain in it. The box was in my closet drawer the earlier night and my chain has found its way into the box from the corner.

I showed the chain to my hubby with smiles and tears and narrated the entire incident. Immediately I went to my browser history to locate the blog and here I am sharing my experience.

I am an ardent believer of the Goddess and I feel truly blessed and blissful to experience her miracle! Thank you Amma!

Om Shakti! Om Arai Kasu Ammaney Potri

  6. Today me and my wife prayed to Arai Kasu Amman if we could get our School leaving Certificates which we searched in all places for the past 2 years. This was needed to get our Marriage Certificate. We got married in 1977. We are 70 years and 67 years respectively.

Today when my wife's elder sister asked us to pray for Arai Kasu Amnan it was amazing that we got the certificates within 15 minutes. I have planned to visit the temple soon and do the pooja and donate 1001/- to the welfare of the temple. Om Sakthi Om.

  15. I heard about Araikasu Amman from my grandmother who lived in Chennai for several years.
Over the years, it's my personal experience that I have found several things within minutes of praying to Araikasu Amman. Sometimes, when I have found something and forgot to place jaggery in the Puja room, I have lost something else, I guess as a reminder for the jaggery.
I strongly believe and have experienced this miracle multiple times.
